If I could live someplace else it would be here......

The plan is to share with you some pictures of my own home but until that time, here are some fabulously inspiring homes courtesy of here.

I'm thinking this will be a recurring feature of my blog because there are SO many wonderful homes out there.

Sunday Reflection

This week has been hectic. Every waking moment has been filled with something. Mr Baskerville has been 'working' away, also known as skiing and snowboarding. I on the other hand have also been working - being the mummy, the chef, the cleaner, the office worker, the garden project coordinator, the personal shopper, the taxi driver, the diplomat and the snotty nose cleaner (I'm pretty sure there are several other things to be added here).

In short, I'm exhausted.

Sometimes I secretly wish to be a cat.......

Because sometimes you just have to make a fuss.

Sometimes simple things provide the most pleasure - making a fuss over my mid-morning cup of tea :-)

Good morning!

Good morning....

Whatever you end up doing today, have fun! I plan on hiding behind a wall and throwing a snowball at a stranger ;-)

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday Reflection.

This week has been such a happy, fun and successful week. I managed to launch my little blog - a mighty feat in itself seeing as I'm no technological wizard. Also this week saw snow hitting pretty much all of the UK, and what a difference that makes! Schools were closed and the grown-ups couldn't travel to work. People just seemed so much happier! Whole families left the warmth and comfort of their homes and hit up the outside with huge smiles on their faces, happy just to be spending time with each other and having FUN!

Yes, this week has been a good week.

I hope you enjoyed yours!

Lou :-)

Dipping my toes.....

So I am finally dipping my toes into the vast pool that is Internet blogging - several years later than most people, but hey, I'm usually last to the party :-) I have absolutely no idea if this will work out, how long it will last, or if indeed I'll be any good at it but I really want to give it a try.

So, why am I blogging? Until quite recently (the past year), I hadn't even read a blog, let alone contemplate writing one. Then one day I stumbled across a wonderful blog full of interiors and fashion and lifestyle and haven't looked back since - I'm hooked and totally inspired to create and share my own.

Please know that this is going to be a huge, no wait, COLOSSAL personal challenge for me as I find it almost impossible to share my personal life and feelings. Hopefully this will help, right? Oh well, there's only one way to find out.......
